Business Development Executive

Salary: Up To £35,000 plus OTE and Benefits
Location: London

Key Responsibilities:

• As Business Development Executive, you will maintain regular contact with non-managed customers with the intent of:
- Preserving the relationship
- Protecting them from the competition
- Identify new opportunities
• Working as an integral part of the Sales and Marketing function, the Business Development Executive will build long-term relationships with existing customers to grow the business
• Support the sales and marketing drive to generate new business opportunities within the market
• Act as back-up to Account Managers, being a second point of contact for managed accounts
• Research and collate relevant information on target accounts
• Proactively undertake prospecting activities to target organisations (lead generation)
• Nurture and qualify sales leads and contacts
• Maintain and update leads and other database records
• Become an expert on the company’s services and be able to pitch them effectively to current and potential customers
• Represent the company at conferences, meetings and industry events is a key part of the Business Executive’s role

Key Skills:

• A Business Development Executive with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Can demonstrate the ability to work towards targets and be commercially aware by identifying sales opportunities
• Business to Business experience is essential
• Prior experience using databases and CRM Systems
• The Business Development Manager must be a team player who has the ability to think outside of the box is disciplined and organised in time management
• Enthusiastic with a real drive to be successful
